Does this extender support keyboard and mouse control (KVM)?
Yes. It features USB HID pass-through. You can connect your keyboard and mouse to the receiver (RX) and control the source PC connected to the transmitter (TX) via the included USB-A cable.
What is the maximum transmission distance?
Over a single CAT6 cable, it supports up to 70m (230ft) at 1080P@60Hz, or 30m (98ft) at 4K@60Hz. Using pure copper CAT6 or higher specification cable is highly recommended.
Does it support HDMI local loop-out?
Yes. The transmitter features an HDMI local loop-out port, allowing you to connect a local monitor near the source PC for real-time monitoring.
Do I need to connect power to both ends?
Yes. This model comes with two power adapters (DC 12V). Unlike POC extenders, both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) need to be connected to a power source for stable operation.
How do I use the EDID button?
If the display has no image, distorted colors, or is not full-screen, connect the display to the TX's HDMI OUT port, power on the TX, and long-press the EDID button until the OUT indicator flashes for 5 seconds. Then, power cycle the TX.
