A large religious organization needed to conduct synchronized worship services across multiple branch venues located in different regions. Previously, each venue operated independently for video production and content playback, which created several operational challenges:
Inconsistent viewing experience across venues
Unstable traditional internet streaming with latency and frame loss
Difficulty monitoring remote venues in real time
High deployment and maintenance costs
Limited scalability for future expansion
To improve operational efficiency and provide a unified live worship experience, the organization planned to deploy a low-latency, high-reliability video transmission system for centralized live production and remote monitoring.
The customer required the system to support:
Real-time video contribution from multiple branch venues to the main venue
Stable transmission over public internet or private network connections
Centralized monitoring and switching of all incoming video feeds
Real-time program distribution from the main venue back to branch venues
Flexible scalability for adding more venues in the future
The project adopted an SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) low-latency video transmission solution. The overall workflow is illustrated in the system architecture diagram.
Each branch venue was equipped with:
Professional cameras for capturing live activities
ORIVISON SDI video encoders for video compression and transmission
Internet or private-line network connectivity using the SRT protocol
Workflow:
Camera → Encoder → Internet / Private Network → Main Venue
Multiple branch venues simultaneously transmitted live video streams to the central venue for unified management.
At the main venue, the system included:
ORIVISION SRT decoders for receiving remote video streams
Centralized production and control equipment
Multi-view monitoring displays for real-time supervision
The technical team at the main venue could:
Monitor all remote venues in real time
Switch between different live feeds during events
Record and archive all content centrally
Distribute live program feeds to remote locations
The main venue also transmitted the final program feed back to branch venues through the SRT network.
Workflow:
Main Venue Program Output → Encoder → SRT Network → Decoder → Display System
This allowed remote venues to watch the live main-stage program with low latency, creating a synchronized multi-location worship experience.
With SRT transmission, the system maintained stable video quality even over public internet connections. Packet loss recovery and adaptive transmission significantly reduced freezing, jitter, and synchronization issues.
The organization no longer needed dedicated production staff at every location. Operators at the main venue could centrally manage and monitor all branch venues, reducing labor and operational costs.
Remote venues received the main program feed with minimal delay, improving interaction and synchronization between locations.
The system architecture allows new venues to be added easily by deploying additional encoders and decoders without redesigning the entire network.
The solution is suitable for various applications, including:
Multi-campus church live streaming
Religious conferences and special events
Remote education and training
Corporate multi-site meetings
Live event broadcasting
One hardware family (ES931 encoder + DS951 decoder), one web-based management interface, and one support contact across all 20+ locations.
“I feel that the very professional repair service helped me get my data back. That helps my work is not difficult”
Customer
By deploying an SRT-based low-latency video transmission system, the organization successfully established a “Main Venue + Multiple Branch Venues” centralized live production workflow.
The solution improved transmission reliability, simplified operations, reduced maintenance costs, and provided a scalable infrastructure for future expansion.
For industries requiring real-time video collaboration across multiple locations — such as houses of worship, education, enterprise communication, and live events — this architecture offers a highly practical and proven deployment model.
