A: No, the EH1304 is designed with a cost-effective hybrid architecture. It supports 2 channels of 4K@30Hz (Channels 1 & 2) and 2 channels of 1080P@60Hz (Channels 3 & 4) simultaneously. Please verify your camera output resolutions before setup.
Q: Can I use this encoder directly out of the box without network configuration?
A: As a professional hardware encoder, the EH1304 requires initial IP and network configuration via its Web UI to match your local network segment. It is not a simple plug-and-play consumer gadget. Detailed user manuals and direct engineer technical support are provided for your setup.
Q: Does the EH1304 support PoE (Power over Ethernet)?
A: Yes, the EH1304 supports standard PoE (Power over Ethernet) . Please contact our sales team before purchasing. When selected, it allows you to power the device and transmit network data simultaneously through a single Ethernet cable. Alternatively, standard DC 12V/1A power adapter options are also available.
Q: Can I configure the 4 HDMI channels to use different network protocols simultaneously?
A: Yes. The EH1304 features a highly flexible architecture. You can configure independent network protocols and bitrates for each channel and each stream. For example, you can output Channel 1 via SRT for point-to-point remote transmission, while simultaneously outputting Channel 2 via RTMP to YouTube and Channel 3 via RTSP for local network monitoring.
Q: The device cannot be turned on when connected to the power supply and the power light does not turn on.
A: Check whether the power adapter is connected, please use the power adapter originally provided by the manufacturer. Replace or troubleshoot the power adapter. If the POWER indicator still does not light up after the device is powered on, please contact us (support@orivision.cn) for repair or replacement.
Q: How to get the newest firmware and update it?
A: Pls contact support@orivision.cn for the latest firmware information. By the way, please let us know in your email the version number of your existing software and why you need to update the firmware. After get the newest firmware, pls follow the steps as below: Step 1: Download the .rar file, do not unzip the file Step 2: Log in to your Encoder or decoder web user interface and click the System button. Step 3: Upload the .rar file and then click the Upgrade button. (Note: During the upgrade process, don't refresh or close the webpage, and don't power off. If you are prompted that the upgrade failed, pls don't reset it, just reboot it.) Step 4: When the system prompts that the upgrade is successful, Pls reboot your encoder to finish installing updates.
