The DisplayPort KVM fiber optic extender is designed for long-distance transmission of high-resolution DisplayPort video, USB KVM, audio and RS232 signals over fiber optic cable. It provides a reliable solution for extending digital video and control signals between devices located in different rooms or remote areas.

Supporting DisplayPort 1.2, 3D and HDCP 2.2, the extender delivers up to 3840×2160@60Hz resolution with fully digital, uncompressed and zero-latency transmission. This helps maintain the original quality of high-resolution DisplayPort video for professional AV and display applications.

Using a single-fiber LC connection, the 4K DisplayPort fiber optic extender supports a standard transmission distance of up to 10 km over single-mode fiber, while multi-mode fiber supports up to 300 m. USB KVM, RS232 and audio signals can be transmitted together with the video signal, providing an integrated long-distance connectivity solution.

The extender also supports EDID learning, DisplayPort hot-plugging, 7.1-channel PCM surround sound, compressed audio and independent analog stereo audio transmission. With its combination of 4K@60Hz DisplayPort extension, KVM control and fiber optic transmission, it is suitable for broadcasting, video conferencing, rail transit, exhibitions, education, medical training and projection systems.
